Storytelling and object theater
7 years and up
50 minutes
Created during the third lockdown, this short piece by Bénédicte Guichardon and Sabine Tamisier is designed to be a lightweight production that can be performed off-site, reaching out to children and elderly people.
This show tells the story of transmission, connection, filiation, and the bond that develops between a child and his grandmother through looking, listening, dialogue, and careful observation of her every movement at an old loom, echoing Bénédicte Guichardon’s previous show, Le Fil. The little child, now grown up, recalls memories of his grandmother, alternating between storytelling and play, manipulation of objects and evocation.
