Les vilains petits

Theater
8 years and up
55 minutes

Maya, Valentin, and Loan are in the same class. They are nine years old and are “quiet friends.” One day, the teacher announces the arrival of a new student, Malone, who has been expelled from the school next door. The small group then experiences a real upheaval, with everyone’s positions being challenged and identities shaken up.

Insults, derogatory nicknames, exclusion… in the playground, children don’t pull their punches, often being cruel when they decide to target one of their own.

Carried by the highly physical performances of four young actors, Les Vilains Petits (The Naughty Little Ones) plunges us into the heart of childhood worries, with their fragile and contradictory emotions.
