Performance + discussion with the audience

40 minutes, followed by a 1-hour workshop
Do you know why actors don’t wear green on stage? And why is the word “rope” forbidden? En Aparté (Aside) invites audiences to take a humorous dive into the minor and major history of theater.
Inspired by a rich family mythology, an actor recounts the colorful past of his family, which has been involved in the performing arts for generations. He scrolls through a gallery of characters, each more astonishing than the last, revealing the superstitions and anecdotes of this world.
After the performance, the actor guides the audience in operating a miniature theater designed especially for the occasion. He directs and stages three short plays so that everyone can learn about theater while having fun.
