Timide

Solo performance
3 years and up
35 minutes

Since starting school, Lucas has been afraid of everything, and this is preventing him from growing up. But one day, a conversation between his mother and father changes everything…

Lucas is four years old and very shy. He spends all his breaks sitting on a bench watching the other children play. He is afraid of doing something wrong, of being noticed, and of being asked questions.

One day, he hears his father tell his mother that she is lucky not to be shy and that she has an incredible treasure! Lucas then sets out in search of this treasure that tames fear.

Alone on stage, Bénédicte Guichardon is both a storyteller and an object manipulator. From surprising images to optical illusions, revealed as the story unfolds, she immerses children in the fascinating world of illusion.
